How to Entertain Yourself During Quarantine?
Being stuck inside isn’t so bad if you have stuff to do.

With Covid-19 postponing concerts, canceling sports events, shutting down schools and entire countries, people are forced to self-quarantine. But sometimes being alone with your own mind can take a toll on your mental health especially if you don’t have anything to keep you occupied. Here’s are some ways you can entertain yourself during this global pandemic.

  • Challenge yourself by reading as much as you can from Reddit’s Top 200 Books
  • Play video games like The Division or State of Decay to brace yourself from what’s to come.
  • Take free online courses. Here are some free legitimate online certificates you can get to upgrade your resume.
  • Conduct hand to gland combat or diddle the clittle fiddle as much as you want but make sure to use both hands because you don’t want to build muscle disproportionately.
  • Indulge yourself with your favorite skincare product! Slather those niacinamide, moisturizers, clay masks, whatever makes you feel like a damn queen/king.
  • Expand your horizons by learning a new language.
  • Listen to podcasts
  • Learn to play ukulele so when the capitalist society collapses you can take an epic quest to awesomeness and traverse the world as a badass bard, receiving food and shelter for playing hippie songs
  • Write a song.
  • Take online classes from Skillshare.
  • Do creative works.
  • Watch Broadway plays and musicals. Here are some of the best filmed Broadway shows and where to find them.
  • Memorize rap songs just for the heck of it.
  • Read manga.
  • Watch anime.
  • Make a comic book.
  • Write short stories, poetry, play or get started on that novel you’ve been wanting to write.
  • Declutter and organize your room.
  • Reconnect with your friends using social media platforms.
  • Pick up a new hobby, learn to do crochet, knitting, quilting or arson, whatever tipples your fancy.
  • Put on soap opera, mute the audio then make up your own dialogue.
  • Paint/ sketch.
  • Meditate. Find a place to sit that allows your back to be in an upright position. As you begin, take several deep, slow breaths to gather concentration and when you feel that your concentration has settled in, begin to breathe naturally. And when your mind wanders, simply focus on your breathing.
  • Practice yoga. You can even try to suck your own penis on the process.
  • Dust off your encyclopedias and read them all.
  • Watch mind-blowing films.
  • Binge-watch tv series. Highly recommend Boston Legal, South Park & Fleabag.
  • Learn more about astronomy.

  • Learn basic car maintenance like how to change a tire, how to check/change oil, etc.
